About AeroHub

Aviation Route Intelligence, Built for Enthusiasts and Professionals

AeroHub Analytics is a free, browser-based platform that transforms raw flight tracking data into professional-grade operational analysis. Upload a FlightRadar24 CSV export and instantly receive fuel burn estimates, cost breakdowns, flight phase detection, altitude profiles, and multi-route comparison — all without creating an account.

What AeroHub Analytics Does

Every commercial flight generates thousands of ADS-B data points — timestamps, positions, altitudes, and speeds broadcast by aircraft transponders. AeroHub Analytics reads that raw data and turns it into structured operational intelligence:

  • Flight Phase Detection — Automatically identifies taxi-out, takeoff roll, climb, cruise, descent, approach, and taxi-in from the track data, using configurable thresholds calibrated against real-world operations.
  • Fuel Burn Estimation — Models trip fuel consumption by aircraft type using phase-weighted allocation with per-family burn rates for turboprops, regional jets, narrowbodies, and widebodies.
  • Cost Breakdown — Calculates direct operating costs across five categories: fuel, crew, maintenance and engine reserve, insurance and depreciation, and navigation and ground handling.
  • Altitude and Speed Profiles — Interactive SVG charts showing altitude, speed, and flight phase over the entire route with hover inspection.
  • Multi-Route Comparison — Load up to five routes side-by-side to compare block times, fuel burn, cruise profiles, and operational metrics.
  • Interactive Route Map — Leaflet-powered map with departure and arrival markers, route polylines, and real-time playback.
  • Cruise Profile Analysis — Detects step climbs, initial and final cruise altitudes, and cruise efficiency.
  • SSIM Schedule Converter — Parse fixed-width SSIM airline schedule files into clean, structured CSV exports.

Who Is AeroHub For?

Aviation Enthusiasts

Track your favourite flights and understand the operational details behind every route — climb rates, cruise altitudes, fuel consumption, and how airlines optimize their operations.

Flight Simulation Pilots

Use real-world flight profiles to plan more realistic sim flights. Compare your simulated route against the actual airline operation.

Aviation Students

Study real operational data to understand flight phases, fuel economics, and airline cost structures as part of your aviation management or engineering coursework.

Industry Professionals

Quick scenario analysis for route planning, fleet evaluation, and operational benchmarking using real ADS-B track data.

How It Works

  1. Export a CSV from FlightRadar24 — Open any flight on FlightRadar24, go to the flight page, and download the CSV track log.
  2. Upload to AeroHub — Drag and drop or click to upload your CSV file. AeroHub parses the timestamps, positions, altitudes, and speeds instantly in your browser.
  3. Select an Aircraft Type — Choose from a comprehensive database of commercial aircraft. AeroHub auto-suggests the best match based on route distance and block time.
  4. Explore the Analysis — Review flight phases, fuel burn, cost estimates, altitude profiles, and operational metrics. Adjust cost inputs to model different scenarios.
  5. Compare Routes — Load up to five routes to see them side-by-side on the map and in the comparison table.

Free and Private

AeroHub Analytics runs entirely in your browser. No account required, no data uploaded to any server, no tracking beyond standard analytics. Your flight data stays on your device.
